Welcome to Valley Christian Assembly. We are a non-denominational church lead by Pastor Mark Brattrud. We are glad you have found interest in our church. We hope you explore our site and make your way to one of our weekly services.
We believe the Bible is God's authoritative Word to us. It teaches us that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. Jesus is the source of everything we do. Our goal is to spread the Word and love of God to all of our neighbors here in the valley and worldwide.
We'd love to have you worship with us this weekend; and it is our prayer that from the moment you walk through our doors, you will feel an overwhelming sense of God's loving and powerful Presence.
Whether you are visiting for the first time, or you're a regular attendee at Valley Christian assembly, we consider it an honor to have you with us. May your experience at Valley Christian Assembly inspire you to passionately love Jesus, and may you discover your part in our story as well.
Join us this week , as together, we CELEBRATE all that Jesus is.
Sincerely, Pastor Mark Brattrud
Sunday 9am, 11am, and 6:30pm; Wednesday 7pm; Thursday 7am; Saturday 6pm
On just a word from God and the blessing of our Lord, Mark and Larraine Brattrud moved from upstate New York to Palm Desert, CA to serve at Valley Christian Assembly. Our Church has grown including several new ministries in the Riverside County area and abroad.
The goodness and favor of God on our church is an amazing part of our story. We invite you to experience God's favor and become a part of our incredible church family. Valley Christian Assembly is what it is today because of people just like you, who have said "yes" to God's purpose for their lives.
Our church is not built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the service and sacrifice of many. Valley Christian Assembly's story is still unfolding and continues to grow today. We invite you to attend one of our new member classes to learn more about us, and discover how you can be a part of our family, and our story.
Our vision and missions are based on truths found in the Word of God for His Church. These two work together in propelling us forward. We believe God's vision/mission for His church also mirrors His vision/mission for our personal lives as well. Therefore, we endeavor that everything we do is based on the clear teaching of the Bible.
Jesus gave us the vision for His Church, and we continue to follow it. The church is not a human organization, but is to be the living Body of Christ. It is to be the expression of His life and love to the world.(Ephesians 1:22,23 & 4:11-16)
At Valley Christian Assembly, our mission is leading people to "experience truth". We seek to learn the Bible not just to gain more knowledge, but to daily allow God's Word to transform our lives. We seek to be more like Jesus. Real Christianity is experience based on truth. We endeavor to be open to and lead by the Holy Spirit, God's Presence with us, while being firmly anchored in His Word.
Prayer is our dynamic link with God. A church is only as healthy as it's prayer meeting. We gather every Wednesday night to corporately worship and seek God. And God is answering and releasing His power among and through us. God is indeed doing amazing things!. Lives are impacted as God's people pray together.
One of the best ways to get connected with other people in the Valley Christian Assembly family is by participating in a Grow Group. Grow Groups are designed to help you build healthy relationships with others in a safe environment, while growing together spiritually.
Missions and Outreach
We believe the local church is the vehicle Jesus Christ chose and empowered to reach a lost and hurting world. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, driven by His heart to serve others, giving people the opportunity to find true hope and fulfillment. Together, we are reaching our communities and changing our world for Jesus.
